  Was greeted immediately I entered, and asked 1 or 2? I said 1 and asked to use their loo. Seated, I chose an omelet and a coffee. Omelet arrived but no coffee. Unlikely to visit again. Felt unwelcomed on my own.

  Great service and really nice food. It's not the cheapest but the food is great so it's definitely good value. You could easily spend the same elsewhere and get much more run of the mill fayre.

  Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Scallop starter was very nice. Everything on the steak main course was excellent (crispy chips & well season mushrooms and tomato). Only disappointment was the steak - only option on the menu was Rump. I've never eaten rump before and after this I won't again. It was too chewy (I ordered medium-rare). Shed should consider offering at least one of fillet/sirloin/ribeye cuts of beef.
  The kitchen is visible from any table. A reassuring feature for anyone who has doubts about what may be behind closed kitchen doors - this kitchen is spotless.
