  Good contemporary art gallery, well maintained and curated but it would be good to see more work by artists from Ireland and not so much from halfway around the globe, which it has been last few times I've visited this year.

  Surely the crown jewel of the Cathedral Quarter. Have been for breakfast numerous times at the monthly NI Humanist's brunch. Definitely a go-to spot for culture vultures with a full programme of arts and theatre events.

  Nice general art place. Very diverse exhibitions, concerts, plans... Very affordable and open to all public. The only issue is the service in the bar/restaurant waiters must learn the products that are in the menu including the kind of beers.

  Collection...a little lite.
  It is late May 2017, just visited MAC, the current exhibit: Lost in Narration, includes 3-4 installations on the fourth floor, the Upper Gallery, on the third floor, The Tall Gallery, and there are pieces in the Sunken Gallery on the Ground Floor. The building is the star of the show and celebrating its 5th year. While one probably has to take in exhibits, lectures, etc., throughout the year to fully appreciate, the visitor probably will leave unsatisfied, as there really isn't much in terms of collections to see or experience. Yes, folks like to hangout here, which may or may not be more than a little pretentious, but for serious art lovers who are visiting, you'll need to check the schedule to determine if a visit is warranted or not. I cannot recommend a visit based on what is currently offered, especially if you have but a few days to devote to sites.
